Role Overview:

Congo Media Network (CMN) is seeking an experienced Senior Video Editor & Developer specializing in world-class 2D/3D animation, motion graphics, and high-end video production. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating compelling digital content, including animated advertisements, corporate videos, brand campaigns, social media content, and marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities

• 2D & 3D Animation: Develop high-quality animations for advertisements, explainer videos, product promotions, and branding campaigns.
• Video Editing & Post-Production: Edit and enhance videos with professional transitions, color grading, visual effects (VFX), and sound design.
• Motion Graphics & Special Effects: Design engaging motion graphics, kinetic typography, and animated infographics.
• Storyboarding & Concept Development: Collaborate with creative teams to visualize and execute innovative video concepts.
• Branding & Graphic Design: Create eye-catching promotional materials, banners, and thumbnails for digital platforms.
• Software Expertise: Work with industry-standard tools like Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, and DaVinci Resolve.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, content, and design teams to bring creative visions to life.
• Quality Control & Optimization: Ensure all video outputs are optimized for various platforms (TV, social media, web).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7-8 years of experience in professional video editing, animation, and motion graphics.
  Strong command over Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop and Audition), Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, and DaVinci Resolve.
• Expertise in storytelling, visual effects (VFX), and CGI integration.
• Experience in character animation, explainer videos, product demo videos, and cinematic editing.
• Strong sense of color theory, typography, composition, and aesthetics.
• Creative mindset with the ability to translate ideas into impactful visual storytelling.
• Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
• International work experience or exposure to African markets is a plus.
